About this session

This session examines the collaborative efforts involved in the acquisition, development, and distribution of OER at a public R1 research university. Presenters will explore the roles and responsibilities of library publishers, library deans, university presses, faculty, department chairs, institutional foundations, and administration in supporting OER initiatives. Attendees will gain insights into the expectations of students, faculty, and publishers engaged in OER creation, as well as lessons learned from developing OER materials for both large gateway courses and upper-level, specialized courses.
