About this session

The rising cost of textbooks continues to create significant barriers to student success. In response, many institutions are turning to Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) initiatives to promote access and equity.

This prerecorded session explores how two departments at the University of Arkansas have taken distinct yet equally effective approaches to advancing ZTC efforts on their campus. Through innovative and collaborative partnerships — with strong support from the university library — these departments demonstrate practical models for reducing textbook costs. Attendees will learn about the strategies, challenges, and successes of each approach, offering valuable insights for departments and institutions looking to launch or expand their own ZTC initiatives.
